Why Pregnancy Is Associated With Frequent Bleeding

As a woman pregnancy is one of the wonderful events in your life, and despite many of the associated risks with pregnancy, you will still certainly welcome the experience of giving birth to a beautiful child and the experience could not be compared with anything in this world. Normally pregnancy comes with few unwarranted complications such as bleeding, etc., but the same need not be allowed to drain your enthusiasm and the wonderful experiences.

It has been found that bleeding is a common phenomenon during pregnancy and the same can occur up to the ninth month of pregnancy, but however, bleeding during pregnancy needs to be immediately attended by a doctor so as to rule out any possibility of impending complications.

Early Pregnancy and Bleeding

Normally any bleeding during the first trimester of pregnancy might indicate towards abortion or miscarriage, but the same need not be a rule as well. Whenever you visit your doctor during the first trimester of your pregnancy, your doctor will use ultrasound to check the development of the baby inside. Your doctor will be able to asses even the heart beat of your developing baby and based on the findings you will come to know more about the baby and its health.

Late Pregnancy and Bleeding

Any bleeding during the later part of your pregnancy is a sure sign of some impending problems and it is better you get your gynecologist check your placenta and/or the uterus. When your doctor subject you to his/her observation, your doctor will be able to assess the exact reason for your bleeding during the later stages of your pregnancy and take corrective measures to save you and your baby.

Further, there can also be situations that may even warrant an immediate delivery of baby, even through cesarean procedure, however you will be first admitted into the hospital for further diagnosis and treatment. In case you bleed little with a pregnancy of 36 weeks, probably the case is not that serious and your doctor may manage the situation with administration of IV fluids, and monitoring your baby little closely.

Pregnancy is a wonderful event and hence women when they see bleeding during their pregnancy will get panic. However, you need not get panic or perturbed and the best advice is to see your doctor immediately to take any further course of treatment.
