easy to test pregnancy using the test strips

Understanding the Midstream Pregnancy Test

The pregnancy test strip has to be held in the urine stream for 5 to 6 seconds. You can find the instructions on how to test, on the box of the pregnancy test strip. You can also collect the urine in a cup and then dip the test strip in it to check for pregnancy. This method also is used by some people.

Once urine is absorbed in by the test strip most of the strips change color. To make urine absorption easy it is sometime easy to use a cup of urine and dip the strip in it. Check the intructions given in the box to see how it should be done.

If the pregnancy test strip is not digital, you might be required to place it on a flat surface. You might need to close the cap in some strips. There would a control window in which you can see the change necessary to indicate whether you are pregnant or not.

In some pregnancy test strips, you might see a line that would appear in the control window to indicate that you are pregnant. However it is better to read the instructions to interpret the result.

Using a Digital Pregnancy Kit

Most of the conventional pregnancy test strips indicate pregnance through the appearance of a plus sign or through a line. But the digital pregnancy test strips use the word PREGNANT or NOT PREGNANT to give the result. These words are displayed depending on the result. This helps you to avoid confusion.

These kits have holders which have the pregnancy strips in it. You can use the same holders again with new pregnancy strips to check pregnancy again. These pregnancy kits come with multiple pregnancy strips so that you can check as many time as the pregnancy strips are available.

Once you have finished with all the pregnancy strips, you have to throw it away. For succesive pregnancy tests immediately you have to wait for up to one hour and until the words are not displayed. If you find that you are pregnant using any pregnancy test strip, do visit your doctor for further advice.
