The first home pregnancy that came to the market was EPT. This test kit was introduced in the market in the year 1978. At that time the test was called as early pregnancy test and now the name of the test is error proof test. This was the first home pregnancy test that got FDA approval and the price at the time of introduction was ten dollars.

The person can pick up the kit using the color of the cap.
One of the earliest pregnancy tests is blood test. For this test one need to go the doctor. If going to the doctor is not possible, then there is no other alternative but to buy the home pregnancy test to confirm the pregnancy.
